The 40s hit me with a bang.  One minute I was still 30 something and then the next, I wasn't.  What makes 40 so evil?  You see the black balloons and black roses to commemorate this milestone as a sign of mid-life.  Well, here's my crisis!

I started working from home again a few years ago when the dreaded age hit me where I live.  I do custom leather work and tack items for horses.  The mid-40s came to visit me this year and I looked in the mirror and noticed.  I reached up and felt my face and neck and were shocked to see a few wrinkles.  I decided to name each of them after one of my children and ex-husbands, not necessarily in that order.

I wanted to do something about the rough patches and uneven skin tone et al and did some research on the best products available, either over the counter or prescription.  Checking out surveys online was a job but come to find out Mary Kay had a big, rave review for their Microdermabrasion Set of TimeWise products.  I decided to try it out and, WOW, I'm impressed.  It really made a difference in the rough patches and has made a nice improvement in my skin tone.  My neck no longer feels like the media I've been working with.

The wrinkles?  Well, I'm still working with those...

My next item up for work are the dark circles and puffy eyes that seem to have come to haunt me from the depths of "Non-Sleeping Mother of Teenagersville."  I am looking into Clinique's All About Eyes, Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Eye, and Mary Kay Eye TimeWise Age Fighting Eye Cream.

If you have any ideas on what works, let me know!  If you'd like to try the Mary Kay Microdermabraision Set, check it out here:  Mary Kay Microdermabrasion Set
